Get to the Superbowl and score 54 points against the AFC. Oh yeah the Red Sox were always rebuilding too. Now we have the greatest collection of Coaching and talent ever assembled and its our turn and everyone is pissed. No rap video with some overrated quarterback but a collection of blue-collar athletes with a singular purporse! Crush, Kill and Destroy. Enjoy Haters! No-one will come within 34 of us the rest of the way! It is fun to watch every week. Like the yankees of the 50's, Celts of the 60's, Steelers of the 70's, Celts agin in the 80's, Bulls of the 90's...Pats in the 21st century. I am blessed to be from Boston.

Re: Running up the score or too good?

We havent seen anything yet. The Philidelphia Feables are coming to town without Mcnabb...not that he would do anything... but this could (will) get ugly. Lets take a knee the entire 4th qtr and just let the "D" play. Curious to see what the "running up the score" lobbyists have to say.

Re: Running up the score or too good?

I am tired of all these whiners complaining about the Patriots running up the score. The Patriots have the best offense of all time and the notion that they are running up the score is absurd. I also like the fact that the defense gets lots of rest due to the long drives that the offense puts together. This will keep our defense fresh and rested and ready for the playoffs. I remember the days when Bledsoe could not convert on third downs and that must have frustrated our defensive players knowing that they couldnt get the rest they needed.
