I think the Celtics are a team that was not built properly for playoff games. For the third time they took a lead in Atlanta and they didn't finish them off. I'm not impressed by any other team in the playoffs, either, but the Celtics' playoff weaknesses are mind-boggling and lok ominous even if they win Game Seven.

Firstly, I don't want to see anyone off the bench besides Powe and Posey right now. And maybe Davis if the lead is comfortable. Cassell is completely frustrating. He's supposed to be at point when he comes in for Rondo, but his ball movement is leaving much to be desired. He keeps trying to setup his own shot, and then he misses those shots. He may have been a force offensively once upon a time, but right now he is surrounded by guys that are vastly superior. Just give them the ball.

As for Garnett, I know he prides himself on being an unselfish player. But right now he just needs to take the ball and put it in. The biggest impact he's had on this team (imo) is that he's made Pierce better by drawing the defense off of Pierce and onto himself. But right now he's getting the ball and then passing it off. If he takes the ball and goes to the basket with it consistently, they'll start putting more pressure on Garnett which will free up Pierce to get in position for good shots.

One of the things I did like from last nights game is that Doc Rivers actually let Pierce play a significant number of minutes. He was the best player on the floor besides Garnett in game 3 and he only got 17 minutes. Just let him play.

Pierce needs to be better at the free throw line. If he is going to be out of control going to the hoop and get fouled he needs to be more consistent at the line. PLAY POWE!!!
As far as the Celtics with Atlanta, I think it was more matchup issues than anything. They have very athletic players and when they get confidence it can be trouble. Atlanta was a much better 37 win team than it looked. The Celts did what they were supposed to and put that baby to bed. They can now play C's basketball. PLAY POWE!!
