The Jets chose not to show up …
Remember when Eugene Wilson was that hard hitting DB a few years ago? what happened to him? Who do we want to see next week for the chance to go to the SB? If its Indy that will be the SB. I am worried about our pass defense against Peyton. I think we have a much better chance of going to AZ. if we play SD. As much as i want to see the best game (IND) I would rather play the bolts.Someone tell me our defense will get better!
Trust me, no other kicker will be coming to Foxboro next summer unless he totally blows it the next two games. Gostkowski had a very good year. I admit the missed 35-yarder wasn't a good playoff start for him this season, but he came back and hit a 35-yard to clinch the win. The miss barely missed to the right. I'm not making excuses, but he missed only three kicks this season (21-for-24). Remember, the greatest kicker of all-time, Adam Vinatieri, missed a 29-yarder to lose to San Diego the week after the Colts lost to the Pats.
Bottom line, it's a little early. I think Gostkowski has the makings of a great kicker. I really do.
