Should be an interesting next 2 starts for Buchholz. He really hasn't started well out of the gate and to face the Yank's for his next 2 starts will be a good test. Again we shouldn't make too much out of it since it is still only April.

Lots of good stuff to talk about in this posting :) Opening Day was fantastic and I was lucky enough to be there for the celebration (even though it was my only ticket of this yr so far I could get!!) The Hawk thing is pretty funny. When it came out on opening day the whole crowd just gasped then just started laughing. It was kind of creeepy b/c it was flying above the stadium and all you saw was the shadows on the field, it was creepy haha.
I am quickly becoming a big Sean Casey fan. The guy appears to be clutch. As much as I love Mike Lowell I am glad that we are going to get to see Casey for a little while. What about that play by Youk at third last night, oooooh that was beautiful!!
As for Papi, I think he will come around. I don't think its his off field committments. He just seems like he is under everything so apparently its timing, the surgery he had takes weeks to recover from so I don't think that is it either. He will heat up and we will forget about this slump!!
I think we should start a petition that Ellsbury start every day, what do you think? I can't stand this switching every other day, its not healthy for my fantasy team either!!
Look forward to the Yankee series, however I don't like playing them so darn early in the year and the weather is suppose to be horrible, not to mention it still physically hurts me to see Damon in Pinstripes!!!!! Lets hope we get all three games in and there is a sweep. I heard a stat that during Francona's tenure we are 21-9 in April agains the Yankees but then we end up pretty even with them overall so we have to take advantage of this time!! Go Sox!!
