If you think that he can adjust his swing to cut down on his GB% and translate his raw power in to 30+ homeruns, then Teixiera isn't a neccessary signing.  If, however, he doesn't get more lift on the ball he's more likely to become John Olerud than Justin Morneau.  Not that there's anything wrong with Johnny O; he was a great ballplayer.  But without Tex and with Ortiz entering his decline phase, that just isn't enough of a middle-of-the-order prescence.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Marcel</dc:creator><pubDate>Wed, 10 Dec 2008 16:55:33 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
