It has never failed in the last two decades, from Cowher's beginning to Tomlin's gag job against Jacksonville last season; even the Ravens game was an implosion rescued by Troy Polamalu. Ad the Cardinals are a team that reads Steeler-type defenses and beats them.

Roethlisberger has had a strong playoff record, indeed, but he's been terrible so often even in games the Steelers win that it's a wonder they've won as much as they have. Saying he doesn't have much for weapons is garbage - he's got good enough receivers; if he blows it in a game it's his fault, not his receivers'.

Hating the Cardinals is natural because they've never been committed to winning from their beginning.
