Have watched 4 of the 7 games and without a doubt they are for real. Of course it helps to be in the east, but in order to win a championship you have to get to the finals and they are a good enough team to do that. Makes me proud to wear the Celtics jacket again!!!

You are absolutely right on with this one...(as always) but the C's have 3 not 2 perrenial all-stars and that is the absolute difference. There hasnt been a team with 3 since the Celts and Lakers of the 80's. Its not that the Celts will definitely win it all this year, but like you said , they are contenders...barring injuries. I do think if this team stays together for five years we will be raising at least two more banners up into the rafters. Oh..and by the way, we may have four perrenial all-stars in the future if the play of Rondo continues...Thanks for your work Bill...Jim

They're definitely good. I'm going to wait until they play some of the Western Conference powers before deciding if they're great.
