ETBlogs Sports: Bush can’t pardon Clemens

Although everyone seems to think Roger did Roids, including myself, I really havent seen any evidence.Who decides who was lying to congress? Do the representatives make a decision on who they thought lied and convict? I cant see that. Its rogers word against mcnamees. Bill, help me out with this. How will this conclude?
The pardoning thing was only talked about by Mcnamees attorney. It doesnt mean anything. I think Bush stays out of it and stands by his word. Like he always has, even under pressure.

Are you kidding me? No evidence?

Unless those syringes and vials were tested and even that would be questionable what else is there except mcnamees testimony?
Like i said, i think he did, but prove it. Ever since O.J got away with murder, nothing surprises me anymore.

No evidence? The testimony of Andy Pettite should be all that you need. Why on earth would Pettite lie? And why would McNamee tell the truth about everybody else but lie about Clemens. Roger was clearly lieing on Capitol Hill and it was a shame to see the Republican Congressmen treating him like he was the second coming of God. I don't see Bush doing anything because this matter won't be cleared up until Bush is probably out of office. Remember how long it took for an indictment on Bonds? I think we need to move on from all these "heroes" of the game that were cheating. Everybody has already forgot about Mcgwire, now lets forget about Clemens, Bonds, Canseco and all the rest of them.

Bill, do you see Masterson, Lowrie, Bowden, or any of the other young pitchers we haven't seen making any sort of impact at the major league level as Sept. call ups or before, much like Bucholz last year? Or do you think it will be a while before they make an impact.

Tim has a problem. He writes into several message boards and chances his name. His name is Jerry, David and now Tim. He's one of those guys addicted to computers and chat rooms.

According of an AL general manager, Masterson might have the biggest upside of all of the Sox pitching prospects, including Buchholz.
I don't know if I agree, but the point is he will probably be around some time after All-Star break if need arises. If Sox are OK, they err on the side of keeping kids down.

I was neither Tim nor David. That is pretty rich coming from a guy that writes a blog.
    Good Luck and God Bless
