What struck me was how hard he worked to get his shot and get rid of the ball. He wasn't "hesitating" as Flip Saunders said he was doing the first four games. Anyway, if Allen comes out shooting and Paul Pierce plays the way I think he will, I think the Celts might win this tonight.
Detroit is tough, though. I would take Chauncey Billups on my team any day.

Re: 5 reasons C’s will win Friday night

Marcel
I believe the Sam Cassell experiment is over, especially against Detroit. He can't handle the full-court pressure because he is not a ball-handler. He's a shooter. Two minutes was all Doc could take. The only way I see Cassell going in is if the C's can't score. There is always a chance Cassell can create something. But those odds are very low.

Re: 5 reasons C’s will win Friday night

Odds that Cassell sees any minutes at all Friday night? I say just about zero. I'm also still worried about Allen. Everyone thought he had broken out of his funk after his game 2 performance, and then he went right back to doing nothing for the next two games. He definitely looked good last night, but I'll remain cautiously optimistic until he has at least two good games in a row.
