The Jets chose not to show up …
2. Dude, all I have to say here is Ray Allen. Relax, it's not he's going to fall of the face of the earth. It's just a small sample size. He proved in the last week of the season that his wrist isn't going to keep him from crushing the ball.
3. 98 mph on the gun a couple of times last night. Ok, you win. I still think Kazmir has the better upside, but right now Lester is definitely the guy to have.
4. Pedroia has been tatooing the ball, just not finding holes. I wouldn't mind him being a bit more patient, but I've been saying that all season and I doubt he's going to change now.
6. I don't see how you can possibly blame Aybar in that situation. That pitch was 97 at the knees. Sciosca had to have known how hard it was going to be to lay down a bunt against MDC, especially since the Sox were probably expecting it considering that the Angels had already pulled that move on them earlier in the season.
8. Eighth inning wouldn't be the problem if Tito would just stick MDC in there. He's got the best stuff of anyone in the pen (and he's not far behind Beckett or Lester either) and he's mostly got his control issues reigned in. He was basically lights out after the AS break this year.
